Revised unit plans that are effective and easy to follow. Include appropriate scaffolds for Multilingual Learners to support English language development and academic success while adhering to curriculum guidelines and maintaining rigor.

Developed for the 2020 Seven Lakes High School Choice Professional Development Day to invite teachers to "take a journey with us to learn fun, time-saving teacher hacks, and bring the WOW back to your teaching!"
Preserving Resilience in ELLs: Improving Linguistic Proficiency (3/20)
Professional development plan presented to faculty and peers at Texas A&M International University. Presentation currently being used as an exemplum for aspiring principals enrolled in EDAM 5336 by Dr. Stephen Benigno.
Assistant Principal Internship (19-20)
Collaborated with the Instructional Coach and ESL Facilitator to develop an Extended School Year Intervention Program for STAAR retesting subpopulation at Seven Lakes High School. Conducted evaluative studies of campus reports such as the Campus Improvement Plan and program audits of campus discipline, curriculum, and fiscal processes. Facilitated 1-3 hour After School Detention Program.
English as a Second Language Lead (17,18)
Served as the English as a Second Language Lead Teacher at George Ranch High School and served as an advisor for the next ESL Lead. Facilitated Linguistic Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) meetings both in collaboration with the ESL Supervising Administrator and during the administrator's time in Foshan, China. Facilitated professional development sessions for the beginning and middle of the year. Developed faculty resources for professional development and sheltered instruction needs. Advocated for the educational needs of English Language Learners through shared-decision making with the supervising administrator, sheltered instruction faculty, and parent representative. Collaborated with assistant principals and teachers to develop learning and intervention plans for ELL, SPED, and Section 504 students.
Writing Across the Curriculum (11/16)
Delivered a professional development session on implementation and evaluative best practices for writing across the core content areas in collaboration with the English Department Chair and other English Language Arts teachers at George Ranch High School. Constructed manipulatives for audience engagement.
